We first met Lindsay and Bob due to the fact that Bob and my father in law worked together in Fleet Street.
We used to meet in the Royal Oak for a beer or three and our interest in cars meant that we met with Lindsay at many car events over the years. We got along so well and laughed together often until we cried. The men would just look at us with raised eyebrows and say "Here they go again". I feel very lucky to have been able to call her my friend and will miss having her around.
We will not be able to attend Lindsay's send off as we will be in France but rest assured that you will all be in our thoughts on that day and we will be raising a glass with fondest memories of a lovely lady x
